How to Find Us

The Scout Centre

All our sections normally meet at the Scout Centre on Blenheim Road in Kidlington (view map).

If you enter Blenheim Road from Bicester Road you should continue nearly to the end. There is a drive on the right hand side, alongside the last house, which leads up to the Centre.

The Centre has two large halls, a kitchen, a well equipped camping store and a small car park.

The Boat Base

We also have a boat base at King's Lock in Wolvercote (view map).

The base can be accessed on foot along the river from the Trout Inn. Alternatively, if coming by car, head through Wolvercote, past the Trout Inn. Continue over the bridges, past Godstow Abbey. As soon as you pass under the A34 there is a gate on the right hand side with a track, which leads to King's Lock following the river. The gate is usually padlocked so you will need someone to let you through. Follow the road along the river until you come to the entrance of the Lock car park. You will need to park and walk over the cattle grid and you will see our building next to the weir. Cross over the Lock and follow the grass path along the riverbank.

The boat base has a meeting / changing room and a boat store equipped with boats and safety equipment.
